Job Overview
The Lathe Machine Operator role entails setting up, running, and maintaining lathe machines to fabricate precise parts in line with engineering blueprints and production criteria. Accurate use of measurement tools is essential.
Primary Duties
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions accurately.
- Manufacture components adhering to exact dimensions and tolerance requirements.
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of lathe machines.
- Detect and communicate any machine faults or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Keep detailed production logs and records related to quality.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Achieve production goals while ensuring product quality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed ITI or Turner certification, or passed 10th or 12th grade with relevant operating experience.
- 3 to 4 years of experience operating lathe machines.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in Tool Room or Oil & Gas industries.
