Role Overview
The position involves programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using Zeiss software, as well as developing and validating measurement programs. There will be a transition to using Calypso software over time. Close collaboration with production teams to troubleshoot technical issues is essential. You'll also use various manual inspection tools to verify component quality, and handle documentation tasks including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). Supporting continuous improvement efforts within production and quality departments is also part of the role.
Requirements
- Experience programming CMMs with Zeiss or Mcosmos software.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Engineering qualification preferred, especially with a mechanical focus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and team collaboration capabilities.
