CNC VMC and Turning Machine Programmer

Job Overview

We seek a skilled CNC VMC and Turning Machine Programmer to enhance our manufacturing capabilities in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This role involves programming, process design, and continuous optimization to produce precision components according to customer specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Define item details, Bill of Materials, and process routings for new product introductions.
• Establish manufacturing procedures and assembly work instructions aligned with customer requirements and conduct training sessions for technicians.
• Design jigs and fixtures that facilitate manufacturing operations, especially for welding processes.
• Troubleshoot and continuously optimize manufacturing workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Analyze required processes, including studying specialized tooling or special processes.
• Monitor and evaluate ongoing production floor processes to ensure adherence and efficiency.
• Create 3D models and generate corresponding 2D flat pattern drawings from customer blueprints.
• Develop and program VMC routines to machine precision parts from solid and cast components.
• Estimate machining cycle times using both 2D and 3D drawings.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability (Design for Manufacturing) and address any design constraints.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for new product introduction projects, including obtaining customer approvals and proposing design for manufacturing modifications.
• Handle customer documentation related to NPI projects, such as drawings, specifications, test procedures, and work instructions.
• Review and create technical documentation, process flows, and process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA).
• Perform project analysis and serve as a communication liaison with customers regarding technical matters.

Additional Information

• Salary range is INR 60,000 to 110,000 per month.
• Location is onsite in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
