Job Overview

A prominent global IT services provider seeks a Principal Architect/Senior Solution Architect to strengthen their team in Singapore. This role focuses on defining and leading architecture strategies across cloud, data, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end architectures encompassing cloud environments, data platforms, AI/ML systems, and distributed computing.
• Design and implement microservices and event-driven architecture solutions.
• Construct advanced data, AI/ML, and Generative AI platforms to support business needs.
• Spearhead presales activities including solution design, proposal development, product demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
• Guide cloud modernization initiatives and transition legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
• Provide direct architectural leadership and collaborate with offshore teams to build scalable and secure enterprise solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 15 years of experience in software, platform, or data engineering with at least 6 years dedicated to architecture roles.
• Proven track record delivering extensive enterprise transformations involving applications, cloud technologies, data, and AI.
• In-depth knowledge of microservices and event-driven design patterns.
• Experience with data platforms and solutions involving AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.
• Strong familiarity with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures, Kubernetes orchestration, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent consulting skills, presales expertise, stakeholder engagement, and technical leadership capabilities.
• Willingness to travel for business approximately 20-30% of the time.
