Role Overview

This position focuses on creating detailed architectural designs for applications, providing strategic leadership, and enabling delivery teams to engage clients effectively and ensure their satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design architectural applications for new projects and significant modifications in existing contracts.
• Develop an enterprise-wide architecture emphasizing scalability, reliability, and ease of management.
• Oversee application assets and guide development initiatives to enhance solution delivery and responsiveness.
• Direct assembly and construction of application components and services supporting solution architecture and application development.
• Maintain frameworks and artifacts used in application implementation adhering to the holistic architecture framework of the application portfolio.
• Implement application architecture approaches like service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices to achieve business agility and faster market delivery.
• Provide solutions for RFPs from clients and ensure overall design quality assurance.
• Manage the portfolio of to-be solutions, covering systems, shared infrastructure services, and applications, aligning them with business outcomes.
• Analyze technology landscapes and client needs to establish collaborative design frameworks.
• Develop RFPs based on client-specific standards and technology stacks.
• Offer technical leadership through design, development, and implementation of custom solutions utilizing modern technologies.
• Define and evaluate current state solutions to identify enhancements and define target state architectures.
• Communicate architectural goals, recommendations, reusable patterns, and propose investment plans.
• Assess and suggest integration solutions within the technology ecosystem.
• Monitor industry and application trends to inform current and future IT planning.
• Contribute technical and strategic input during project planning with architectural designs and advice.
• Engage in account mining to uncover opportunities within existing clients.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review solution objectives against enterprise architecture compliance.
• Identify potential risks and impacts in implementation.
• Create new revenue sources within applications via APIs accessible to clients.
• Drive automation by integrating Agile and DevOps practices to minimize manual processes.
• Interpret application needs to design standardized applications.
• Develop intellectual property including services, design patterns, models, and organizational methodologies.
• Design reusable applications and best practices for future reference.
• Ensure system capabilities are effectively utilized by system components and evaluate them based on criteria such as tolerance, investment, migration, and elimination.
• Establish standardized tools, uniform designs, and techniques to decrease maintenance costs.
• Coordinate assessments of risks, costs, and potential opportunities for concepts.
• Build customized applications aligned with customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough design and code reviews regularly, incorporating security considerations.
• Understand design and production standards to develop prototypes and final products.
• Collaborate closely with systems analysts, developers, data managers, and other team members to ensure successful application software delivery.
• Offer practical solutions for diverse systems and architectures across various businesses.
• Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems to prevent issues, maintain data integrity, and enhance development value.
• Transform applications digitally and evolve towards mesh app and service architectures supporting emerging technologies like IoT, blockchain, machine learning, automation, and bots.
• Manage cloud transformation through migration and modernization efforts.
• Understand non-functional requirements and produce deployment architecture and interface catalogs.
• Identify internal and external dependencies, including vendors and IT management.
• Support build and testing teams with technical expertise and guidance.
• Stay current with market technology advancements.

Mandatory Skills

Expertise in Oracle Applications Framework is required.

Experience

Applicants should have between 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
