Role Summary

Based in Singapore, the Cloud Native Technical Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Everpure’s expanding Cloud Native / Portworx service line throughout the APJ region. This position requires overseeing the entire project lifecycle—from customer kickoff through design, development, and deployment—collaborating closely with Advanced Services architects, Cloud Native DevOps engineers, Systems Engineering teams, and Certified Delivery Partners.

This hands-on position demands a high level of technical aptitude, solid experience in agile delivery frameworks, expertise in cloud and cloud-native technologies, and the capability to manage complex multi-stakeholder, enterprise-scale projects across countries including ASEAN, Greater China, Japan, Korea, ANZ, and India.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete project lifecycle for Cloud Native and Portworx service engagements across the APJ region, including deployment of Portworx Enterprise, PX-Backup, Disaster Recovery, health assessments, and KubeVirt virtualization solutions.
• Lead project kickoffs, discovery, technical design, planning, implementation, and closure in partnership with technical architects and engineers.
• Implement agile methodologies such as sprints, backlog management, retrospectives, and iterative delivery tailoring approaches to specific project and customer needs.
• Facilitate collaborative design thinking sessions and joint development efforts between Everpure teams, partners, and customer tech groups to accelerate solution delivery and mitigate risks.
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation including project plans, RAID logs, governance schedules, and communication for strategic and enterprise accounts aligned with Everpure’s Advanced Services standards.
• Coordinate efforts across multiple internal teams and external stakeholders, encompassing architects, engineers, Certified Delivery Partners, system integrators, and cloud platform teams.
• Handle project risks, scopes, and change control processes effectively, escalating issues through operational, project, and executive governance as needed.
• Monitor project health, resource utilization, and delivery performance metrics using tools such as KeyedIn and ServiceNow, regularly updating leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the APJ Cloud & Platform Engineering group to develop and refine delivery templates, standards, and playbooks for Cloud Native and Portworx services.
• Support and guide partners in delivery methodologies, governance, and certification requirements for Cloud Native and Portworx engagements.
• Serve as a trusted and technically knowledgeable liaison to customers throughout delivery phases, translating technical progress and risks into meaningful business outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Project or Program Management with a proven history of delivering complex technical projects to enterprise clients.
• At least 10 years of managing cloud and SDLC-centric agile projects, emphasizing iterative development rather than waterfall approaches.
• Strong technical foundation in cloud and cloud-native technologies including containers, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Portworx, and related cloud-native storage or orchestration platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of design thinking methodologies and collaborative development models, with facilitation skills for technical teams and customers.
• Experience managing complex delivery involving multiple vendors and diverse stakeholder groups, coordinating cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellence in governance and communication disciplines, including project planning, risk and issue management, escalation handling, and executive reporting.
• Possession of Red Hat/OpenShift certifications is strongly required given the prevalence of OpenShift in service delivery.
• Additional cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer are valued.
• Preferred agile certifications include PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster/PSM, or SAFe Agilist. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certifications are advantageous.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and executive presence, capable of building trust across culturally diverse regions.
• Willingness to travel as necessary within APJ to support client projects.
• Must comply with Everpure’s primarily in-office policy, working onsite in Singapore except for approved leaves or travel.
