As a Cloud Engineer in Software Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure for sophisticated software development projects. Our presence spans multiple German cities, including Leipzig.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software architects, developers, and operations teams to design appropriate cloud architectures for applications.
• Deploy cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Develop high levels of automation and integrate CI/CD pipelines into cloud environments.
• Implement efficient monitoring and logging systems to ensure error-free operation, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain and continuously improve cloud infrastructure to enhance reliability.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in STEM fields or an equivalent qualification with at least two years of professional experience in software development projects.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud-based software development and hands-on experience with cloud technologies.
• Programming proficiency in at least one popular language (e.g., Python, Java, or C#), plus automation experience using scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
• Preferably, certifications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or practical experience with OpenStack.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken; no travel expected.
