Clothing Processor

Position Summary

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is tasked with managing the complete processing of all apparel merchandise shipments, from the receipt of goods to their placement on the sales floor and proper receiving procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Process all apparel merchandise efficiently upon receipt, adhering strictly to Visual Merchandising and MPS Standards, utilizing the inventory management system (accounts for 50% of duties).
• Systematically replenish merchandise on the sales floor according to Visual Merchandising Standards using the inventory system (10%).
• Keep informed about current sales promotions to facilitate backroom organization and timely merchandise replenishment (10%).
• Participate in unloading trucks when required (10%).
• Assist in maintaining accurate pricing and proper signage for merchandise (5%).
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation always well stocked with necessary supplies (5%).
• Ensure backstock areas remain orderly and merchandise is easily accessible (5%).
• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for all guests (5%).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required and preferred.
• Experience: No prior work experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in operating company computer systems and devices including System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and Point of Sale register systems.
• Ability to understand and organize based on plan-o-grams, visual merchandising guides, and merchandising standards.
• Capable of reviewing replenishment reports to appropriately stock the sales floor.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrating friendly and professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Aptitude for building and maintaining positive relationships with management, co-workers, and customers alike.

Physical Requirements

• Regular walking, standing, and computer-related tasks.
• Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
• Seldom seated during work hours.
• Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as necessary.

Independence and Judgment

Performs assignments under general supervision following established procedures with some degree of innovation. Exercises independent judgment within limited alternatives and often suggests improvements to work processes, policies, and practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay ranges from $17.13 to $19.75.
