Clinical Training Manager, Vascular - Aortic Intervention

Position Overview

The Clinical Training Manager specializing in Vascular - Aortic Intervention is responsible for designing, delivering, and reinforcing clinical education programs targeted at employees, distributors, and customers. The role focuses on ensuring these programs support organizational objectives and comply with regional requirements, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Training - APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with division leaders, corporate functions, and operational teams to develop accurate and consistent clinical training content and frameworks.
• Support the creation of training structures that align globally, while adapting to local and regional regulations and needs.
• Work continuously with the regional training team to set, measure, and achieve training and development goals, including maintaining training documentation. Participation in meetings outside standard hours may be required.
• Drive the regional clinical training strategy by monitoring key performance indicators and incorporating feedback from clients and employees, addressing any gaps promptly.
• Conduct hands-on, classroom, and virtual training sessions covering product knowledge, clinical information, business strategies, and sales skills when assigned.
• Engage with field teams and leadership to support training events and provide coaching to enhance sales and business development.
• Offer clinical case support within assigned accounts as needed.
• Ensure adherence to training processes and proper documentation in the Cook Learn platform.
• Assist in planning annual activity and budget forecasts when designated.
• Help manage the educational events calendar within the region to guarantee alignment with division goals as assigned.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of policies, procedures, and qualification standards for training attendees, trainers, and programs as delegated.
• Meet project deadlines and perform administrative duties such as expense reporting and policy acknowledgments efficiently.
• Uphold integrity and compliance with Cook’s business standards and policies.
• Ensure all relevant quality, regulatory, and product compliance requirements are fulfilled within the scope of responsibilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a college degree in a related area or hold comparable relevant experience.
• Have at least five years of relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or training functions.
• Demonstrated in-depth understanding of specialty products and practical application of standard and customized aortic devices.
• Extensive background in clinical or sales education and training, capable of engaging large groups or individuals effectively in virtual or face-to-face settings.
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities and previous experience managing organizational change.
• Acquainted with training documentation systems and methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in adult learning theories, including assessments and competency-based training models.
• Serve as a role model adhering to company standards and promoting team collaboration toward achieving market objectives.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently with minimal oversight and collaboratively within teams.
• Competent in managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Proficient in using computers, including Microsoft Office, Mac OS, and other business-related software.
• Fluent in Artificial Intelligence and data-related concepts aligned with responsible usage standards within the organization.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically, internationally, and on weekends as required, up to 50% of the time.
• Capable of working within general office environments and clinical or hospital settings.
