Supervisor - Training

Position Overview

This role involves collaborating with managers and department heads to address staffing, recruitment, and qualification needs. The Supervisor of Training will design and develop learning strategies based on needs assessments, prepare and deliver training sessions, and oversee safety training compliance in various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with management to evaluate staffing and recruitment requirements and identify training needs.
• Create and produce training materials including workbooks, manuals, brochures, job aids, posters, and interactive formats.
• Organize and conduct training classes, handling all logistical preparations and follow-ups.
• Lead group training sessions and ensure safety and orientation training are performed across departments.
• Support management in employee processes such as hiring, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Adhere to company and safety policies; promptly report incidents and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by telephone with professionalism and accuracy.
• Foster positive working relationships and support team objectives while attentively addressing employee concerns.
• Provide excellent guest service following company standards, including assistance to those with disabilities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for long durations, operating computer and point of sale systems, and handling light objects.
• Undertake any additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
