Job Summary

As a Meat Production Clerk, you will engage directly with customers, providing expertise on products ranging from grilling tips to nutritional advice. Your role will involve preparing high-quality meat cuts, maintaining product displays, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all organizational procedures, standards, and policies during daily operations.
• Provide polite and friendly customer greetings and interactions.
• Deliver excellent customer service aligned with company programs.
• Prepare meat products by cutting using knives and saws for display.
• Stock and rotate various meat products on shelves.
• Build and maintain attractive merchandise presentations according to company guidelines.
• Operate commercial power equipment safely.
• Write orders and assist in receiving products.
• Fill product showcases with fresh meat items.
• Clean and sanitize work areas to uphold hygiene standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail meat cutting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with different meat cuts is an asset; company-specific training will be provided.
• Ability to quickly acquire new skills and knowledge.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated, dependable, and able to work well within a team.
