Key Duties

This position centers on sustaining a spotless and orderly store environment with an emphasis on floor maintenance. The job involves using scrubbers and buffers, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and occasionally performing spot cleaning on glass surfaces. Responsibilities span upholding operational procedures, merchandise standards, and loss prevention measures while being flexible to assist in multiple store areas.

• Exemplify established practices to ensure exceptional customer experiences with both internal and external customers.
• Promote and maintain a positive store culture grounded in honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Uphold floor care cleanliness standards including the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment like scrubbers and buffers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the entire store including sales areas, queues, lounges, backrooms, and restrooms.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines, including replenishing essential supplies in lounges, restrooms, and front end areas.
• Be cross-trained to provide support in various store sections such as the backroom, front end, and sales floor.
• Respond promptly to coverage requests at the front end when needed.
• Adhere to merchandising philosophies and signage standards.
• Take initiative in participating in store recovery tasks as necessary during the day.
• Follow all operational and loss prevention protocols in alignment with company policies, including measures against shrinkage.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with management and fellow associates.
• Observe all labor laws and company policies regarding breaks and meal periods.
• Engage actively in safety practices to uphold a secure environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours to suit business demands.
• Strong organizational aptitude with keen attention to detail.
• Physical endurance sufficient to carry out cleaning activities and operate floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.

• Capacity to lift heavy items, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to collaborate well with coworkers and supervisors.
• Preference given to those with retail customer service experience.

Compensation: Starting wage ranges from $17.13 to $17.63 per hour depending on relevant qualifications and experience; the broader pay range for this role extends up to $27.20 per hour.
