The role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in designated areas such as offices, commercial, industrial, or institutional buildings. The position requires cooperation with colleagues, clients, and management, adhering to verbal and written instructions with clear communication skills.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a full-time role based in London, Ontario, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday including weekends. The wage ranges between $20.00 and $22.00 per hour. • Comply with all safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete assigned tasks.

• Maintain professional communication with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in for absent staff as necessary.

• Demonstrate understanding of customer service and satisfaction principles.

Main Tasks

• Vacuuming floors.
• Edging along floors and surfaces.
• Dusting various areas.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms and breakrooms.
• Window cleaning duties.
• Emptying trash and ensuring proper disposal.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Standing for approximately one-third of the time; walking for more than two-thirds.
• Use of hands and fingers for handling and gripping tasks.
• Reaching above shoulder height.
• Pushing, pulling, and grasping using hands and arms between 33% and 50% of time.
• Occasional climbing or balancing less than 33% of the time.
• Bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling less than 33% of the time.
• Performing repetitive motions.
• Ability to stand for long durations.
• Lifting objects frequently weighing up to 13 pounds.
• Working under pressure and meeting deadlines during busy periods.
