Full-Time Cleaner

Position Overview

ISS Facility Services is seeking dedicated full-time Cleaners to maintain cleanliness and order in various environments such as offices, commercial spaces, industrial areas, and institutional buildings in Port Wentworth, GA. This role requires effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to all company and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe facility for all occupants.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position is set at $19 per hour. Employees qualify for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, along with a leave program tailored to employment status. Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, edging, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Restock supplies and clean restrooms and breakrooms.
• Clean windows and properly dispose of trash by emptying bins and transporting waste appropriately.
• Support team efforts by filling in during staff shortages and assisting in completion of punch-list tasks.
• Uphold safety regulations by using personal protective equipment and following established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior while communicating courteously with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Standing for approximately one-third of the shift, walking for over two-thirds, with occasional sitting as needed.
• Manual tasks including handling, gripping, reaching above shoulder level, and lifting weights ranging from 0 to occasionally 50 pounds.
• Engagement in repetitive tasks, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as part of routine duties.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines during busy periods.
