Role Details

This position blends driving a Class 5 vehicle with active freight handling tasks in a dynamic, physically engaging environment where teamwork and adaptability are essential. You will play a vital role in our freight forwarding and logistics services covering locations from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Working Hours

Your shifts will run Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading freight for road and rail transportation units.
• Efficiently scanning freight with On-time technology to meet branch operational goals.
• Operating equipment safely and competently at all times.
• Maintaining positive working relationships and effective communication within the team.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a clean Full New Zealand Class 5 Driver's License.
• Forklift License along with OSH certification.
• Dangerous Goods Endorsement is highly desirable.
• A strong customer service orientation.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience driving on New Zealand roads is essential.
