Class 2 Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver for a long-term position based in Taupo, Waikato, New Zealand. This full-time role involves driving and delivering gas bottles safely to customer locations while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Key Duties

• Transport gas bottles securely to various customer sites ensuring safety at all times.
• Accurately conduct stock takes and compliance inspections as part of delivery operations.
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service throughout all interactions.
• Operate tanker and bottle trucks as required by the job.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Valid New Zealand Class 2 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Capable of operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience driving Class 1 or higher category vehicles in New Zealand.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage personal time efficiently.
• Physical fitness sufficient to handle the demands of the role.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
• Having a forklift license and Dangerous Goods endorsement is beneficial; training for these can be provided.
