Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to become a valued member of our close-knit team based in Whangarei. The position involves delivering gas bottles to customers while maintaining safety and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver LPG gas bottles to customer locations efficiently and safely.
- Engage professionally with customers during deliveries.
- Carry out stock inventories and ensure compliance checks are completed properly.
- Load and unload gas cylinders adhering strictly to safety guidelines and protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a clean Ministry of Justice record.
- Hold a clean Class 2 driver's license valid in New Zealand.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years driving experience on Class 2 or higher vehicles within New Zealand.
- Physically fit to handle the demanding nature of the tasks.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
- Have a willingness to learn new skills and follow directions accurately.
- Forklift license and Dangerous Goods certification are beneficial; assistance is provided if not currently held.
- Maintain a health and safety mindset given exposure to hazardous substances.
