Position Overview

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in vehicle damage estimating or assessment who values the responsibility of authorising repairs and assisting customers in returning to the road after incidents.

The role includes inspecting damaged vehicles, evaluating repair quotes, verifying fair repair outcomes, and progressing insurance claims. Tasks involve field visits to assess vehicles and desktop work reviewing estimates, compiling reports, and managing claim progression.

Key Duties

• Operate as a full-time hybrid role servicing the Sunshine Coast area.
• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles and authenticate claims.
• Determine repair scope and scrutinize repairer estimates.
• Approve repair decisions based on evidence and fairness.
• Detect inconsistencies or possible fraud risks.
• Apply policy knowledge and analyse liability factors.
• Maintain professional communication to manage customer expectations.
• Organise personal schedule and ensure timely claim processing.
• Collaborate closely with repairers to assure repair quality.
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Up to three years of experience in vehicle estimation or assessment.
• Essential: Trade qualification in Panel Beating or Spray Painting.
• Desirable: Previous work experience involving watercraft or specialised vehicles.
• Possession of a current driver's licence.
