Civil Subject Matter Expert

Job Overview

We are looking for a Civil Subject Matter Expert (SME) to act as the Technical Authority overseeing civil engineering across multiple projects in sectors such as energy, oil & gas, mining, industrial, and infrastructure within Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the civil engineering design efforts for industrial facilities, ensuring technical excellence.
• Function as the ultimate authority for complex civil engineering designs across various projects.
• Apply extensive expertise in general civil engineering, underground utilities design, earthworks, and road design.
• Address and resolve critical and high-risk technical challenges encountered during the design phase.
• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to civil engineers to enhance the team's technical skills and capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer status is preferred.
• Bring at least 20 years of professional experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, Mining, or Industrial projects.
• Demonstrated track record as a Technical Authority, Chief Engineer, Principal Consultant, Engineering Fellow, or an equivalent high-level role.
