Civil Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and driven Civil Engineer to manage and coordinate construction activities, ensuring that all work aligns with approved plans and specifications while adhering to quality, safety, and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations and site activities
• Ensure execution of construction work complies with approved drawings and technical specifications
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and project teams for smooth coordination
• Inspect and verify the quality of construction materials and craftsmanship
• Measure and confirm quantities of completed tasks
• Prepare daily progress and project status reports
• Track project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
• Review drawings, bills of quantities, specifications, and other project documentation
• Manage material requisitions and maintain accurate site records
• Identify site challenges and provide technical resolutions
• Ensure compliance with site safety guidelines and construction protocols
• Conduct routine quality inspections and site audits
• Support cost estimation, billing processes, and project documentation
• Keep comprehensive records of progress, materials, measurements, and inspections
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and enforce safety on site
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Candidate Eligibility and Skills

• Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• 0 to 5 years of experience in civil construction or site engineering; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for entry-level roles
• Familiarity with construction techniques, materials, and site operational standards
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office preferred
• Strong technical acumen and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and coordination capabilities
• Competence in interpreting and understanding engineering drawings
• Knowledge of measurement techniques and quantity estimation
• Capability to manage site activities and adhere to deadlines
• Willingness to work at construction or project locations
• Team-focused with a responsible work ethic
