Job Overview
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive maintenance and operational functions of the hotel's infrastructure. This includes managing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical installations, and all life-safety equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise the engineering team managing all aspects related to hotel maintenance.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs to enhance reliability and efficiency of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Manage budgeting and cost control for the engineering department to optimize resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
