Job description
Role Overview
The Change Manager acts as the key coordinator for transformational initiatives impacting the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) network. They ensure that every project affecting DSPs is transitioned smoothly, effectively, and meaningfully. From the initial project request submission to post-implementation, they use their expertise to gather diverse stakeholder inputs, drive informed decisions, and offer actionable solutions. This role merges tactical execution with operational management, handling complex challenges and escalations under senior leadership guidance.
Scope and Responsibilities
- Manage transformation efforts across the delivery ecosystem, including Amazon Logistics, AMXL, Same Day, Sub Same Day, A-Now, and A-Rush operations.
- Champion the experiences of both DSPs and Delivery Associates by balancing innovation with operational reliability.
- Proactively identify and address risks to prevent disruptions by collaborating with stakeholders and operational Change Managers.
- Work with Project Owners to create mitigation plans and escalate critical issues when needed.
- Navigate and balance competing priorities to ensure seamless deployment and communication of projects.
- Understand business problem interdependencies such as workflows, customer needs, compliance, and program support, contributing data-driven insights to prioritize work.
- Develop 'working backwards' plans to incorporate relevant perspectives during project design before launch.
- Provide operational process guidance and support to team members and field personnel involved in projects.
- Collaborate across multiple teams including legal, finance, and pricing to manage ambiguity and resolve challenges.
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats to various audiences, fostering constructive discussions and resolving conflicts.
- Partner with project managers, regional stakeholders, DSPs, and business partner teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in program or project management.
- Proven track record implementing repeatable processes and advocating for automation or standardization.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, charts, advanced lookup functions, nested logical formulas, data cleansing, and array formulas.
- Bachelor’s degree completed.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience leading end-to-end delivery projects and presenting results to senior leadership.
- 2+ years of experience in driving process improvements.
- Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders across various organizational levels.
