Catering Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Catering Supervisor dedicated to delivering extraordinary food and top-notch customer service. This position involves overseeing all catering and service operations for Compass Group Ireland within the UK & Ireland sector. The full-time role requires 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and attractive presentation in front-of-house areas throughout operational hours.
• Manage stock orders to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
• Efficiently receive and organize deliveries promptly and accurately.
• Minimize waste during beverage preparation processes.
• Lead and motivate the team to consistently provide exceptional customer service.
• Handle cashing up after late shifts and perform beverage stock audits as needed.
• Support managerial duties, including weekly administrative tasks in the manager's absence.
• Proactively address issues using initiative, tact, and discretion to resolve problems.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in supervising front-line teams is required.
• Strong focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to stay composed and positive under pressure.
• Previous experience in similar environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
