Kitchen Assistant - Plate Wash

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant specializing in Plate Washing to join Compass Group Ireland. This full-time role involves providing excellent service including preparing finely crafted drinks and supporting food service operations for 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Crafting expertly blended beverages and serving quality food to customers
• Ensuring the bar area is consistently clean and orderly
• Handling customer payments via cash and card methods
• Collaborating effectively with team members and maintaining clear communication
• Maintaining sufficient inventory of clean mugs and plates
• Acquiring knowledge on brewing methods, beverage blends, as well as food preparation and presentation techniques
• Verifying the operational status of brewing equipment and reporting maintenance requirements
• Upholding Compass Group Ireland's positive brand reputation
• Adhering strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards
• Complying with all Health and Safety regulations

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build positive relationships
• Previous experience in customer service environments
• Driven to achieve excellence and showing eagerness and motivation in work
• Proactive decision-making focused on customer satisfaction
• Practical experience using brewing equipment
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure
• Consistently punctual and reliable
