Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Handle all purchase transactions promptly and accurately, including merchandise deactivation per the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
• Promote company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe work practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the register by careful cash management and following company policies, while remaining aware of the surroundings.
• Refer service-related or transactional issues to a Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.25.
