About the Role
The Cashier position is vital in delivering prompt, courteous, precise, and secure service to customers. Responsibilities include handling checkout and return transactions and overseeing the Self-Checkout area. Cashiers are encouraged to continuously enhance their product and project knowledge to assist customers effectively and discover sales opportunities. They adhere strictly to company policies to minimize loss.
A Head Cashier assists by managing cashiers during shifts, facilitating price checks, authorizing point of sale transactions and markdowns across all sales points including main registers, Self-Checkout stations, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rentals. They also serve as the first support for resolving customer concerns and help in guiding, coaching, and training Front End Associates and newly hired cashiers with all available development tools.
Requirements
Preferred candidates for the Head Cashier role should have more than one year of experience as a cashier.
