Cashier and Category Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking a Cashier and Category Associate to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring an orderly store environment.

Key Duties

• Welcome customers warmly and create a positive shopping atmosphere.
• Process payments through cash, credit, and debit methods with precision and efficiency.
• Keep accurate cash drawer records and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Stay informed about ongoing sales promotions and update customers accordingly.
• Respond to customer questions and resolve complaints professionally.
• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the sales system.
• Perform regular inventory checks to validate stock levels and data accuracy.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restock shelves, and organize product displays and price tags during low customer traffic.
• Adhere strictly to company policies including safety and security procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cash handling or customer service experience is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills.
• Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment and multitask effectively.
• Fundamental computer proficiency and familiarity with operating cash registers.
• Availability to work on weekends and during holidays as per business needs.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
