Case Management Supervisor

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing all in-patient cases from admission through discharge, ensuring the delivery of discharge summaries and coordinating the collection of dues with the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Guarantee high-quality medical treatment is provided to every patient with compassion and understanding, either directly or indirectly.
• Oversee all in-patient cases from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians to monitor patient care progress.
• Examine diagnosis reports and engage with physicians for discussion.
• Track approval statuses and inform physicians to manage care within approved timeframes.
• Evaluate patient recovery progress during their hospital stay compared to expectations.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Generate and provide analytical reports on Census, Status, and Acuity to the Business Center Manager, including problem-solving suggestions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Provide orientation for new employees regarding work policies, treatment eligibility, and patient care systems.
• Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing educational activities, such as fire safety, risk management, and environmental control.
• Perform clerical duties related to scheduling and patient reception.
• Execute additional duties assigned by management as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Diploma in Management.
• Minimum of seven years of total experience, including one year in general office procedures preferably in a clinical, hospital, or physician office setting, and at least four years relevant work experience.
• Experience in patient services is essential.
• Proficient with computer applications including Excel and Word 2000.
• Fluency in both written English and Arabic.
• Excellent communication skills with tact and courtesy, able to engage persuasively in conversations.
