Carpenter / Restoration Technician

About the Role

Join SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon as a Carpenter / Restoration Technician, contributing to restoring properties affected by water, fire, and other damages. This position involves responding to emergencies with skill and care, ensuring every restoration project is handled efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to emergency calls including water and fire damage situations.
• Carry out restoration procedures such as water extraction, fire damage repair, specialty equipment setup, and selective demolition.
• Maintain and inventory tools, equipment, and supplies in work vehicles for various projects.
• Communicate clearly about safety hazards, job findings, and equipment needs to supervisors.
• Engage with clients by addressing their concerns and explaining restoration processes.
• Conduct cleanup and restoration tasks including site drying and water removal.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Available for occasional on-call shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience in restoration, construction, or related fields is advantageous.
• Holding an IICRC certification is considered a plus.

Physical and Skill Requirements

• Capable of frequently lifting 50 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Comfortable working on ladders, at heights, and in confined areas such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
• Experience working safely around cleaning agents.
