About the Role

Join the WPS team as a Carpenter based in Walton-on-Thames, working within our Responsive Maintenance division focused on social housing. You'll play an essential role in providing reactive maintenance services to residents, ensuring properties are properly maintained and repaired.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs and refurbishments across various housing properties.
• Notify your Supervisor promptly if additional materials or assistance are required to complete tasks.
• Work effectively both independently and alongside other tradespeople as needed.
• Fill out daily work sheets accurately, documenting completed tasks and materials utilized.
• Maintain productivity levels to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a full UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or an equivalent trade certification.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in carpentry work.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work while meeting productivity targets.
• Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to operate efficiently under deadlines.

This role requires candidates to undergo a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the offer stage.
