About the Role

Join the Facilities Management team on the prestigious Elementa contract in London as a skilled Fabric Technician. This full-time, permanent opportunity involves delivering high-quality building fabric maintenance and ensuring compliance in a high-profile corporate FM setting. You'll be vital in maintaining the building fabric to the highest standards and supporting daily operations to keep a safe, professional environment for the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute both planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks across the contract.
• Perform general building upkeep including basic carpentry, patch plastering, painting, and decorating.
• Carry out repairs involving tiling, doors, windows, flooring, ceilings, and minor brickwork.
• Support statutory and compliance requirements to ensure proper standards are met.
• Identify and report defects, completing repairs efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate professionally with site teams, contractors, and clients.
• Ensure all tasks comply with health and safety standards as well as company policies.
• Maintain accurate job records and relevant documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Fabric Technician or Multi-Skilled Operative within Facilities Management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge across various building maintenance areas.
• Experience in commercial or corporate building settings is advantageous.
• Capability to work independently while managing a diverse workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent time-served experience preferred.
