Job Overview

We seek a skilled Carpenter to join ASPM, responsible for creating, installing, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures and fixtures. This role includes supporting the Facilities Engineer by precisely measuring and cutting materials to meet ASPM specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and design plans accurately.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials using hand tools and power equipment such as saws, drills, and sanders.
• Assemble and install frameworks, cabinets, doors, shelves, and other wooden or metal elements.
• Install or repair building fixtures including windows, stairs, and moldings.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other trades to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following health and safety protocols on-site.
• Document work activities and time spent on each task thoroughly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 2 to 4 years of carpentry experience within facilities or property maintenance contexts.
• Vocational certification or completion of an apprenticeship program in carpentry is mandatory.
• Good physical condition enabling manual labor and lifting heavy items.
