Job Overview
This position involves providing polite and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages along a designated route while ensuring all shipments meet Federal Express Canada’s service standards. The role also includes customer service duties related to these functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Verify shipments comply with Federal Express Canada service requirements.
- Perform related customer service tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and manage packages weighing as much as 150 lbs using appropriate tools.
- Preferred: One year of customer-focused business experience.
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training protocols.
- Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational capabilities.
- Exceptional skills in customer service.
- Ability to multitask, manage stress, and perform well in a fast-paced work environment.
- Flexibility to work various schedules and holidays as operational demands require.
