Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Calypso Developer to join our team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for developing and customizing solutions using the Calypso platform, leveraging your expertise in core Java and related technologies to support capital markets operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customization and development within the Calypso platform to meet business needs.
- Utilize Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework for application development.
- Manage workflows and trade lifecycle processes essential to capital markets.
- Interact with SQL/Oracle databases for data management and integration.
- Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate tasks and support system operations.
- Handle SWIFT messaging protocols relevant to financial transactions.
- Apply domain knowledge about Capital Markets including Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, and Derivatives instruments.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum development cycles ensuring iterative deliverables.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification where all graduates are eligible to apply.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Calypso platform development and customization.
- Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework technology stacks.
- Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Understanding of SWIFT messaging standards and practices.
- Working knowledge of capital markets domains including FX, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
