Cake Baker

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Cake Baker to join our team at a Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise location in Mentor, OH. The Baker will be responsible for baking cakes of various sizes and flavors while adhering to established recipes and time guidelines. This role includes maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the baking station and tracking inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cakes in multiple sizes and flavors following standard recipes accurately.
• Carefully remove baked cakes from pans and package them appropriately.
• Store and rotate baked cakes according to brand standards to maintain freshness.
• Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to management promptly.
• Assemble boxes and label packaging materials correctly.
• Monitor and track baked goods inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of baking areas, including tables, equipment, and tools.
• Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth bakery operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to follow detailed baking recipes and standards.
• Attention to cleanliness and food safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with management.
• Inventory tracking experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and be trained to become a skilled baker.
