Café Team Lead

Position Overview

Avoca Ireland is seeking a responsible and proactive full-time Team Lead for its Ballsbridge location on a permanent basis. This role involves assisting the management team by performing key operational tasks such as opening or closing the store and café, managing daily activities within the department, and supporting overall management functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures for the department as directed by management
• Perform cash handling and reconcile cash accurately
• Respond to customer service inquiries and handle complaints effectively
• Coordinate employee break schedules to maintain smooth operations
• Handle ordering processes for stock and supplies
• Offer general assistance to the management team as needed
• Carry out ad hoc duties assigned to support daily operations

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated history of taking initiative and seeking responsibility in previous roles
• Strong customer service abilities with excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail combined with problem-solving aptitude
• Reliable and adaptable work approach to meet business needs
• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar position within retail or food service
