Role Overview
The CAD Solutions Specialist position is a permanent, on-site vacancy in Doha, Qatar. The incumbent will deliver technical support and consultancy for CAD and allied solutions, handling installation, configuration, and streamlining of CAD software for clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical presentations for various stakeholders, including customers, consultants, contractors, and resellers.
- Execute both online and on-site product evaluations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Provide first and second-level technical support, addressing client inquiries and issues effectively.
- Assist in software installation processes, encompassing activation, licensing, configuration, and deployment stages.
- Troubleshoot software issues promptly and deliver efficient problem resolution.
- Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their technical needs and advocate suitable CAD solutions.
- Offer technical assistance to business partners, resolving complex issues throughout the support process.
- Develop and implement partner capability assessment and training frameworks to enhance presales, after-sales, and implementation proficiencies.
- Champion the deployment of training and certification systems within the partner network.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or degree in relevant disciplines such as mechanical engineering, architecture, civil engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Familiarity with CAD/BIM software and associated design processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
- A customer-centric approach with the capacity to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Keen interest in technology and software products, coupled with a proactive desire for continuous learning and skills development.
- Previous exposure to CAD/BIM software, technical support roles, or experience in conducting software demonstrations is beneficial.
