C++ Software Engineer (Remote)

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to develop high-performance systems software with a focus on memory management, low latency, and concurrency. This position involves working with critical parts of the software stack where efficiency and speed are paramount.

Key Duties

• Develop and optimize performance-sensitive systems using modern C++ standards (C++17/20).
• Enhance code to improve memory usage, throughput, and reduce latency.
• Identify and fix complex issues in multi-threaded environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to system architecture decisions.
• Perform profiling and benchmarking to evaluate production system performance.
• Collaborate with other teams to manage integrations and develop tooling support.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience producing C++ code for production systems.
• Expertise in modern C++ (C++17/20) and familiarity with the standard library.
• Experience handling multi-threading, concurrency, and lock-free data structures.
• Knowledge of profiling and performance analysis techniques and tools.
• Familiar with build systems like CMake and Bazel, as well as version control using Git.
• Good understanding of computer architecture principles and memory models.
