Role Overview

This position requires managing sourcing and supplier development activities focused on chassis components such as exhaust and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities include price negotiations, vendor stabilization, capacity planning, cost reduction initiatives, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely and quality mass production launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new suppliers and develop parts related to chassis components.
• Negotiate pricing for chassis parts including exhaust and air conditioning systems.
• Lead the development of chassis components like exhaust and air conditioning systems.
• Stabilize vendor processes and quality, securing sign-offs for mass-production parts.
• Plan and improve vendor capacity to meet production demands.
• Manage vendors to maintain quality and delivery consistency.
• Drive annual cost reduction, localization, and value analysis/value engineering (VAVE) activities.
• Manage raw material (RM) indexation and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee smooth product launches that meet production targets.
• Compile comprehensive purchasing reports covering supplier and development issues, benchmarking, and price analysis.
