Key Responsibilities

• Handle purchase requests and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best offers while ensuring all essential information is accurately captured.
• Proactively promote and implement procurement catalogues for streamlined purchasing processes.
• Provide daily support by processing orders and requirements through the ordering system (e-tool).
• Communicate effectively with internal business requestors to validate and document their purchase needs properly.
• Identify and engage with new suppliers while maintaining communication with current vendors.
• Align purchase requests with existing contracts and preferred suppliers to optimize procurement efficiency.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal business partners, addressing and resolving routine procurement issues.
• Generate and analyze procurement reports to identify opportunities for catalogue enhancements.

Candidate Profile

• Proficient in managing purchase requests and supplier negotiations ensuring comprehensive documentation.
• Experience in driving the use and development of procurement catalogues.
• Skilled in operating ordering systems such as e-tools for daily order processing.
• Strong communicator able to liaise with business teams to clarify requirements.
• Adept at sourcing suppliers and managing ongoing supplier relations.
• Capability to match purchase requests with contracts and preferred vendor lists.
• Effective in problem-solving and sustaining supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
• Analytical skills to generate, review, and leverage reports for procurement improvements.
