Role Overview and Duties

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide thorough orientation of their rooms and available amenities.
• Coordinate with room service to facilitate food and beverage delivery in rooms and oversee the clearing of used items.
• Assist housekeeping in ensuring guest rooms are maintained and serviced to the highest standard.
• Organize and care for guests’ personal belongings, including clothing and wardrobes, keeping them neat throughout their stay.
• Handle guests’ valet requirements, including collection, processing, delivery, and minor clothing pressing.
• Manage guests’ luggage unpacking and packing as requested.
• Maintain the Butler’s pantry in a clean and orderly fashion continually.
• Control inventory and charging procedures for in-suite bars.
• Provide guests with local and room information support, assist with bookings and reservations.
• Offer assistance in restaurant, reception, luggage services, as well as back-of-house cleaning and maintenance tasks when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 5 years working experience as a butler or in equivalent roles within luxury hospitality.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience supervising a team of service professionals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities for effective guest and team interaction.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff with strong leadership qualities.
• Proficiency in household management software along with Microsoft Office applications.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management and multitasking skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and luxury service standards.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern customs and etiquette is a significant advantage.
• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Professional butler certification is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are highly valued.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion consistently.
