Business Intelligence Administrator - TIBCO Spotfire

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Spotfire Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing the Spotfire platform and ensuring its robust performance in a business intelligence environment. Candidates with 6 to 8 years of experience and availability for immediate joining are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and maintenance of Spotfire components including Server, Web Player, Node Manager, Analyst, and Automation Services.
• Manage user access including groups, licenses, roles, library permissions, and security controls.
• Implement and maintain security configurations such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory/LDAP, SAML, SSL certificates, and overall platform security.
• Administer Spotfire Library content, data connections, and environment configurations to ensure optimal data management.
• Monitor system health factors including availability, CPU and memory usage, log files, and Web Player performance metrics.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues such as connectivity problems, failed processes, and dashboard performance challenges.
• Configure and maintain connectivity with enterprise data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Handle Spotfire platform upgrades, patch deployments, migrations, data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Automate routine administrative and monitoring tasks leveraging scripting languages and tools like PowerShell, Python, REST APIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT infrastructure, security, database, development, and business teams to maintain a secure and governed analytics environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Life Sciences data models and standards, including CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, IDMP, SPOR, and MedDRA.
• Experience integrating Spotfire with ETL pipelines, Data Lakes, or other BI platforms such as AWS Glue, Informatica, Databricks, or Power BI is advantageous.
