Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will focus on qualifying inbound leads and building relationships within existing customer territories. This role offers exposure to full sales cycles and involves prospecting, engaging with potential clients via multiple channels, and driving deals to closure in conjunction with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to potential clients, managing live chat inquiries as the primary responder.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales teams to align solutions with client business needs.
- Qualify leads thoroughly and schedule follow-up meetings, documenting all activities and progress in Nintex's CRM (Salesforce.com).
- Master Salesforce for lead and email management, and contribute feedback on marketing impact and prospect engagement.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Office 365, business process planning, and Nintex's product suite.
- Effectively communicate product licensing and benefits, and help scope technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Facilitate product trial periods by supporting customers and encouraging usage to maximize trial benefits.
- Identify and pursue additional business development opportunities in coordination with other BDRs and Account Managers to advance prospects.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum two years of sales experience.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
- Background in marketing or SaaS sales is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude aimed at exceeding goals.
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Demonstrated aptitude for engaging prospects via phone, email, and digital platforms.
