About the Role
Join Salesforce's Business Development Representative (BDR) team in Dublin, focusing on generating new business pipeline and whitespace opportunities in either the Public Sector or .ORG verticals — encompassing government institutions, non-profits, NGOs, and educational establishments. This role drives Salesforce's mission for impactful digital transformation where it matters most, offering personalized training and growth opportunities within a dynamic sales environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business prospects through targeted outbound outreach in Public Sector or .ORG accounts.
- Handle inbound leads triggered by outbound campaigns, nurturing early-stage government, non-profit, and educational opportunities.
- Engage prospective customers by cold calling existing Salesforce clients and penetrating new accounts within assigned territories.
- Collaborate closely with core sales teams to source pipeline by conducting detailed research on organizational structures and decision-makers.
- Coordinate with internal account units in your vertical to ensure alignment and maximize sales efforts.
- Identify key stakeholders and budget authorities navigating the unique procurement processes of public and non-profit sectors.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Fluent in English with an additional language is required, along with eligibility to work legally in Ireland.
- Background in business development, sales, or related areas, preferably with passion or experience in public sector, non-profit, or education sectors.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, efficiently manages multiple organizational relationships.
- Skilled in research, account planning, prospecting, and outbound cold calling to engage both new and current customers.
- Proven consistent achievement of sales targets and year-over-year quota attainment.
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience, including leadership, military, volunteer roles, and professional experience evaluated.
