Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative to join our Inside Sales Team. This role involves identifying and engaging potential customers through proactive outreach, qualifying prospects, and contributing to the sales pipeline development. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and possess a strong motivation to propel business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and pinpoint new business prospects within targeted sectors or areas.
- Deploy multiple lead generation techniques including cold calls, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
- Assess potential leads to confirm their suitability relative to our products and services.
- Initiate contact via telephone, email, and social platforms to present our offerings.
- Arrange and coordinate product demonstrations and meetings to advance sales discussions.
- Maintain persistent follow-ups to guide leads through the sales funnel.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and act as the primary contact for prospective clients.
- Accurately document leads, sales interactions, and progress using CRM systems.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and sales objectives.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams and senior colleagues to strategize and secure business wins.
- Transfer qualified leads to designated sales personnel for further engagement.
- Consistently achieve or surpass individual sales targets and contribute to overall sales growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must hold a graduate degree in any discipline.
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation; experience in inside sales is advantageous.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to quickly establish rapport with clients and leads.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office 360 suite.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
- Goal-driven, self-motivated personality with resilience to handle rejection and persistence in pursuit of targets.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a dedication to sales excellence.
- Ability to adapt and learn rapidly amid changing challenges.
Reporting
This position reports directly to the Assistant Manager of Business Development Representatives.
