Role Overview
We seek a motivated Business Development professional eager to grow personally and excel in sales within a fast-paced startup environment. Reporting directly to GTM leaders, you will focus on pipeline development, crafting scalable playbooks and strategies to help Fellow achieve market leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume cold calling and qualify inbound/outbound leads.
- Develop and deliver compelling outreach campaigns via email and LinkedIn.
- Manage scheduling of meetings and pipeline growth through various channels.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to enhance inbound strategies and generate leads.
- Perform targeted, insight-driven discovery to understand prospects' roles, challenges, and decision timelines.
- Establish and nurture relationships with industry leaders, sharing Fellow's updates and developments.
- Represent Fellow at industry conferences and events.
- Become proficient in conveying Fellow's story and the value it offers.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience in business development positions.
- Proven success as a consistent top performer.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative to take action independently.
- Openness to feedback with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Highly ambitious with competitive spirit and aspirations for swift career advancement.
- Detail-oriented mindset, valuing quality output over just volume.
- Persistent and resilient, capable of overcoming rejection and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and strong work ethic, passionate about building and driving results.
Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive pay aligned with market standards (CAD 75,000 to 90,000 annually).
- Comprehensive health and dental insurance, including prescription and life coverage.
- Parental leave offering 12 weeks paid at 80% salary to any new parent.
- Generous time off with three weeks vacation, paid sick leave, and a company-wide year-end break.
- Flexible remote work options throughout Canada.
- Opportunities for professional growth through learning budgets, lunch-and-learns, and autonomy over one’s projects.
Work Culture
Our team thrives on speed, early sharing, collaboration, and mutual support. We foster an engaging and enjoyable work environment where curiosity, direct communication, and enthusiasm for solving challenges are valued.
