About the Role
Flatpay, a rapidly expanding fintech enterprise in Europe, has recently commenced operations in the UK. We are searching for an energetic Business Development Representative to join our team at our White City location, working onsite five days a week.
Compensation
- This position offers a commission-based pay structure with a guaranteed monthly minimum of A32,120.
- The expected on-target earnings (OTE) ranges from A340,000 to A345,000 annually, with uncapped commission potential.
Responsibilities
- Initiate outbound cold calls targeting merchants to generate interest in Flatpay™s offerings.
- Assess and qualify prospective leads and schedule in-person appointments for Sales Managers.
- Accurately record all activities and outcomes in the CRM system to maintain up-to-date data.
- Continuously refine outreach scripts and strategies, leveraging results and coaching feedback.
- Contribute insights on merchant feedback, competitor activities, and the effectiveness of sales pitches.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses high levels of energy, persistence, and a positive approach towards cold outreach sales techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to establish quick rapport.
- Strong focus on metrics and comfort with meeting daily and weekly sales targets.
- Open to constructive feedback and keen to adopt best practices in sales.
- Capable of effective multitasking, managing time efficiently, and staying organized in a dynamic environment.

Background and Eligibility

- Preferred experience includes 1 to 2 years in customer-facing roles such as customer support, retail, restaurants, or telesales.
- Fluency in English is required.

Selection Process
- Initial review of CVs by the Talent Team to evaluate relevant experience and fit.
- Completion of a brief AI-assisted assessment showcasing communication and sales aptitude, which is reviewed by a human assessor.
- An on-site assessment day at the White City office to meet the team and further evaluate suitability.
- Prompt offer issuance for successful candidates, with onboarding sessions conducted monthly.
