Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to expand our sales efforts and execute an outstanding go-to-market strategy. Your duties will include conducting outreach to both inbound and outbound leads, nurturing a prospective client pipeline aligned with Scarlet’s target audience, managing exploratory conversations to understand prospect requirements, and collaborating with the commercial team to optimize messaging and outreach approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage potential clients through cold outreach and targeted networking, including participation in industry events
- Develop and sustain a pipeline of qualified leads matching Scarlet’s ideal customer profile
- Lead qualification discussions to assess client needs and guide them to appropriate sales channels
- Work together with commercial colleagues to refine sales messaging, audience targeting, and contact strategies
Required Qualifications
- Between one and three years of experience in business development
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to build meaningful professional relationships
- Strong determination and resilience to excel in your role and the field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for varying audiences
- Ability to swiftly comprehend commercial contexts and unique corporate needs
- Highly organized and data-oriented, comfortable utilizing CRM and outreach tools to manage your pipeline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within healthcare or other regulated industries is advantageous

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is between £70,000 and £100,000 annually.
