Job description
About Dablam
Dablam is an AI-driven reputation intelligence company assisting corporations in gaining a competitive edge through managing their reputation in a modern landscape influenced by AI and large language models (LLMs). We highlight underrepresented yet accurate information and ensure it reaches the appropriate audiences at optimal times and contexts.
In today's environment, a company's reputation, as shaped by LLMs, critically impacts decisions made by customers, investors, regulators, and partners. Dablam provides measurable advantages by delivering stronger, precisely targeted representations and early warnings of emerging reputational risks. Our unique technology, unmatched by most firms, supports partnerships with global enterprises in regulated fields and prominent law firms.
We are a profitable, founder-funded organization experiencing rapid growth exceeding 300% year over year without external investors. Our growing business is pioneering a category that we are shaping.
Role Overview
As we expand our UK presence, this vital role will spearhead outbound sales efforts, attracting new corporate clients. The role focuses on capitalizing on the evolving reputation management market influenced by AI, connecting with forward-thinking corporations beginning to understand the impact of LLMs on their narratives.
Initially appointed as a Business Development Manager, with opportunities for progression through mastering outbound sales and closing techniques, you will play a key part in the scaling UK team.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in high-volume cold calling and send personalized outbound messages to key corporate decision-makers.
- Follow up on marketing-qualified leads using targeted outreach via calls and emails.
- Conduct thorough research on targeted organizations and their personnel to tailor approaches for maximum relevance.
- Qualify leads based on ideal client criteria and advance them through initial stages of the sales funnel.
- Schedule and eventually lead discovery meetings to uncover prospects' reputational risks and business priorities.
- Maintain meticulous records of activities, pipelines, and forecasts within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with other Business Development Managers and the CEO to optimize targeting strategies, messaging, and outbound procedures as market conditions evolve.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in outbound B2B business development or sales, preferably involving high-value, consultative services to corporate or professional services clients.
- Ability to sustain consistent high-volume outbound activities and demonstrate resilience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored for senior corporate executives.
- Strong interest in reputation, artificial intelligence, and information influence on commercial decision-making.
- Self-driven and adaptable to a dynamic, early-stage company environment where role definitions may change.
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary between £40,000 and £45,000 plus unlimited commission earning potential.
- Participation eligibility in the company's share option program granting equity ownership (details provided separately).
- Annual professional development allowance of £2,000.
- 28 days of paid annual leave inclusive of UK public holidays.
- Additional paid leave between Christmas and New Year's Day, plus two paid volunteer days annually.
- Access to a pension scheme featuring a 5% employee and 3% employer contribution based on qualifying earnings.
- Hybrid working arrangement based out of the central London office.
- Annual international team retreat and quarterly wellness days.
