Role Overview
We are establishing a new institutional payments division. Operating in over 80 emerging market corridors, this business segment provides payment infrastructure access to institutional clients like crypto exchanges, fintechs, money transfer operators (MTOs), and corporate treasury departments. As an early commercial team member, you will be responsible for developing a pipeline of institutional partnerships from initial outreach to onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new institutional partnership opportunities across crypto, fintech, and payments sectors.
- Manage the end-to-end business development process including outreach, qualification, commercial negotiations, and smooth transition to onboarding teams.
- Represent the company at industry events, elevating visibility within target markets.
- Liaise internally to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to product and corridor teams.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales with a focus on payments, cryptocurrency, or foreign exchange.
- Existing strong network among crypto exchanges, MTOs, or emerging market fintech companies.
- Ability to sell complex technical products to knowledgeable audiences including treasury professionals, CFOs, and heads of payments.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently without extensive support.
